About the Program

MA English or Master of Arts in English is a 2-year post-graduate course in English & literature studies. It is considered as one of the most demanded courses in terms of career and personal growth. It covers subjects such as English literary studies, criticism, pedagogy, theories, etc, along with the Prose, Poetry, and Drama

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor degree (with the concerned subject as one of the main subjects) 45% marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in the subject at Graduation are mandatory. For SC/ST candidates relaxation upto 33% marks in aggregate and in subject.

• English Language Teaching
• Translation Studies

Semester – IV

1. Indian Literature in English (Poetry and Drama)
2. Indian Literature in English (Fiction and Prose)
3. New Literatures in English
4. Optional Paper (One of the following):-
• Modern Literary Criticism
• Literary Theory (Application).

How to Apply

Admission purely based on merit generated by CCS University, Meerut.

Follow the steps given below for securing admission in a college:

• Step 1: Signup on the university’s official website and do the Registration.
• Step 2: After logging in, go through all the instructions and follow the steps accordingly.
• Step 3: Fill up the application form.
• Step 4: Register for the college.
• Step 5: Upload the list of required documents into the portal.
• Step 6: Submit your form and pay the application fees.
• Step 7: Wait for the University/College to update you.
